Integrity, passion and respect for others are qualities for success.

What is your profession and what drives you?

I am in the advisory arm of a Big 4 accounting firm, specializing in technology assurance and consultancy services. I provide advice to my clients on how to manage their technology and cyber risks.

I’ve always wanted to work in a dynamic and challenging environment and collaborate with people. I enjoy meeting people and prefer not to be bound to a desk, and I derive satisfaction from helping clients and sharing insights. The firm I am in, the clients I serve, and the people I work with provide the ideal environment for me to do my work well.

“Dressing well is a form of good manners” is a phrase I believe in. The first impression counts.

I dress for the occasion and wear clothes that are comfortable with a good fit. My wardrobe has a combination of colours and styles which have grown significantly since I started tailoring my clothes. Wearing clothes that fit well makes me feel more confident. Having a range of colours and styles also allows me to be more creative in my dress style, breaking away from the monotone.

‘Dressing well is a form of good manners’ is a phrase I believe in. The first impression counts, especially when I have to meet new people regularly in my work – from existing and potential clients to potential new hires. I am an extension of my firm’s brand and the image I project shows the respect I have for my clients and the people.

The biggest influencers in my life would definitely be my parents and my wife, who made me the man I am today. My parents taught me compassion and how to be kind to others. They taught me to love dearly and showed me what dedication and hard work is. My wife challenges me and makes me a better man. She encourages me and is an excellent motivator, a great listening ear and always boosts me up when I’m down. Her decisiveness rubs off me and she teaches me to love myself as strongly as I love others.

CYC's custom design for Edmund

I was flattered to be approached to model for CYC and it was a really fun experience — a first for me. The CYC folks were certainly a fun bunch to work with, and were very patient with me.

I never knew that modelling could be so tiring. I’m definitely not a natural when it comes to modelling, but the CYC team helped put me at ease.
